Gerente ejecutiva de asuntos corporativos | Alicorp Bolivia
Cynthia Valencia Canedo is the executive manager of corporate affairs at Alicorp Bolivia, where she is responsible for the public affairs, legal, sustainable development, and communications departments. Previously, she served as legal manager at ADM-SAO from 2010 until 2018, when the company was acquired by Alicorp. She was also an associate lawyer at the Ferrere law firm from 2008 to 2010, handling various corporate matters.
She has over 20 years of professional experience, which began at the Central Bank of Bolivia, where she led the analysis and negotiation of international contracts. She also worked as a lawyer for the United Nations Development Programme at the Vice Ministry of Public Investment, where she was responsible for structuring the legal unit and reviewing loan agreements for the country.
Academically, Cynthia Valencia holds a law degree from the Catholic University of Bolivia. She has a master’s degree in private international law from the Complutense University of Madrid, as well as diplomas from the University of Los Andes, UMSA, and courses from Harvard University.
