How do you manage legal aspects during periods of instability or crisis, and how do you align your legal strategy with the overall business strategy to ensure organisational resilience?
We are working in-house to mitigate legal risks during this period of instability in Bolivia and the changes occurring in Argentina, generating savings on external legal fees, particularly in matters related to permits and legal authorisations, which has been set as a company-wide objective at the international level.
Which emerging technologies do you believe will have the most significant impact on the legal profession in the near future, and how do you stay updated on these developments?
Without a doubt, AI-driven legal solutions are having a significant immediate impact. As a company, we are currently in the process of implementing such solutions for our legal team to improve internal delivery times. I have been involved in the implementation of these new systems at a regional level.
In your opinion, what are the main trends currently relevant in your country (whether legal, political, economic, or business-related)?
In Bolivia, the most pressing issue for the economy is the shortage of US dollars in the market, which poses a challenge when setting economic terms in contracts. In Argentina, the new measures being considered to encourage investment are key topics on the radar for businesses.
