Rolando Imaña is the legal and compliance manager at Crediseguro, a Bolivian insurance company that is part of the Grupo Financiero Crédito, which operates under Credicorp with a presence in over five countries. He has more than 11 years of experience, with eight of those years specifically focused on the insurance sector. He holds a law degree from the Bolivian Catholic University, a master’s in risk and insurance management from San Antonio de Murcia University, and a specialisation in insurance law from the University of Salamanca. Additionally, he has completed postgraduate studies in insurance, arbitration, insurance law, and administrative law in Colombia, Argentina, and Bolivia, respectively. Due to his experience, he is certified as an extrajudicial conciliator by the Ministry of Justice and Institutional Transparency of the Plurinational State of Bolivia. 

Early in his career, Rolando participated in the Young Lawyers Programme run by the Bar Association of Buenos Aires, through which he undertook professional practice at the law firm Hope Duggan & Silva in Argentina. In Bolivia, within the private sector, he has held positions at Dentons Guevara & Gutiérrez and Banco de Crédito. In the public sector, he gained regulatory experience as part of the legal department at the insurance supervisory authority. 

In his current role, Rolando is responsible for decision-making and legal leadership, ensuring the implementation of procedures and best practices to identify and classify operational and legal risks faced by Crediseguro, as well as establishing internal mechanisms for prevention, management, control, and response.
