Ana Carolina Pescarmona is a seasoned attorney with 20 years of in-house counsel experience with multi-national corporations in Brazil. At Reckitt Benckiser (RB) Brazil, she has risen through the ranks and in 2015 became responsible for the legal and compliance department in Brazil. Reporting to the legal director for Latin America, she leads a team of seven. During her first years at RB Brazil, Pescarmona created a closer relationship between the legal department and the rest of the business, becoming involved in the decision-making process within the company from low impact initiatives at the point of sales, to high impact transactions such as M&A. She also oversaw the strategy behind the marketing campaign developed for one of the company’s most important brands and an advertising campaign about sustainability in Brazil. Under her leadership, the company has continued to expand its portfolio of products. Pescarmona participated in several projects to acquire companies and brands such as KY (from J&J) and Olla and Jontex (from Hypermarcas). She has also participated in corporate reorganisation projects, including the opening and structuring of supply projects and new distribution centres.
