Fernando Ziziotti was promoted in May 2018 to senior vice president and counsel for Brookfield Infrastructure in Brazil, in charge of negotiation and execution of investment opportunities and providing legal support to Brookfield infrastructure’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2014, Ziziotti worked as a private practice lawyer at Pinheiro Neto and Debevoise & Plimpton. Based in São Paulo, Brookfield Infrastructure Group is part of Brookfield Asset Management, a global firm originated in Canada, with a significant historical presence in Latin America and Brazil. The firm manages R$42bn in assets across 15 Brazilian states and is a major player in the infrastructure financing industry with a portfolio that includes water treatment facilities, toll roads, commercial property in São Paulo and Rio De Janeiro, and sewage systems.
