Joining the company in 2017 after a long career in private practice at major Brazilian law firms, international experience at Mayer Brown in New York, and previous in-house executive legal experience at Odebrecht, Graziela Galli serves as corporate legal director at GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (GOL), Brazil’s largest airline in terms of passenger numbers. It was the first Brazilian low-cost airline and has a 36% share of the domestic airline market in Brazil. A specialist in business law, Galli is involved in all of the legal operations management within GOL including its compliance with New York Stock Exchange requirements, and B3 Brazilian exchange requirements, the expansion of its fleet through many commercial contracts – GOL has committed to 135 aircraft purchases until 2028 – and the negotiation of code-share agreements with international airlines.
