Guido Rogerio Macedo Silveira Filho has served as general manager legal at Ipiranga Produtos de Petróleo since 2002, having previously worked as a lawyer in the company from 1990 to 1994. He continues to impress as an expert in in-house legal operations in the oil and gas industry. At Ipiranga, an affiliate of the large multinational energy group, Ultra, Filho is responsible for all legal aspects including advice to the board of directors, all corporate governance and litigation matters, as well as commercial, regulatory, competition and contractual matters. For example, in December 2017, Ipiranga announced an innovative partnership deal with Chevrolet which will allow Chevrolet OnStar customers, its digital navigation system, to receive discounts at Iprianga petrol stations if directed there through the system. In addition to his work at Ipiranga he is also the legal director of the National Union of Fuel and Lubricant Distributors, as well as president of the Commission to Combat Privacy and Unfair Competition in the Brazilian Institute of Consumer Policy and Law (Brasilcon).
