With 15 years of legal experience in private practice and as legal coordinator at CETIP for seven years, Leandro Escobar Silva joined Dommo Energia in 2014 as a legal manager, reporting directly to the CEO on all legal matters for the major Brazilian natural gas producer. Domma Energia has been publicly traded on the B3 stock exchange in Brazil since December 2014 and is a major player in natural gas in the region. Silva played an important role in the company’s restructuring and listing on the stock exchange early on in his service at the firm, and has continued to provide excellent legal expertise and guidance. He is the lead on all corporate, financial and capital markets matters, including all compliance requirements as well as commercial matters from a legal perspective, contracts, joint operation agreements, concession agreements and much more. His work is international in scope covering the company’s activities in Brazil as well as matters pertaining to partnerships and other relationships in the Netherlands and Colombia, and he is a powerful presence in the industry.
