In my opinion, it has great importance. It is essential that partners know our company and its business, that they constantly visit our operation, and are aligned with our ideals when dealing with topics of interest to our company.

Looking forward, what technological advancements do you feel will impact the role of in-house legal teams in the future the most? Which have you found most useful in your legal team?

Technology is already helping us to standardise, respond to and address recurring and repetitive issues, allowing the team to focus on relevant matters, strategies and continuous improvement.

How do you suggest in-house lawyers build strong relationships with business partners?

To build strong relationships with business partners it is fundamental to be honest and have a balanced personality, capable of adapting to different people with different ideas. It is important that everyone knows and values their business partners’ work, valuing, respecting and admiring it.
