Projects the team has participated in involve the use of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity or core IT infrastructure, which are particularly challenging due to the strategic importance to our customers.

What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?

Curiosity, ethics, an openness to continuous learning and good judgment. In our industry, technology and market will continue to evolve faster than the legal and regulatory framework, so we need to be constantly learning about our offers to be able to provide valuable guidance to the business, in many cases in the absence of clear regulation.

How have you fostered a closer collaboration between the legal department and your business counterparts?

I have accomplished this by building a trust-based relationship with business counterparts, by acting consistently and balancing the protection of the company, while also enabling the business.
