What are the most significant cases or transactions that your legal team has recently been involved in?
Litigation (mainly labour, collection, tax & customs), Commercial Contract Review, Negotiation & Management, M&A and Businesses Integration.

What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?
Enabler mindset! In-house lawyers are, in my view, business enablers and got have and act with this mindset. The way I would translate this is swapping from “why not” to “how yes”. Obviously, all the actions and legal advice based and in compliance with applicable laws, procedures and internal policies, but seeking to enable business, while protecting its sustainability.

How have you fostered a closer collaboration between the legal department and your business counterparts?
I believe that “knowing the business” is essential, as well as truly understanding what the business purpose is (“why we do what we do”). Once the purpose is clear, to better collaborate with businesses counterparts, legal needs to know and understand what the pain points.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?
I don’t know if I would call that “a cause”, but I am passionate about innovation and its power to transform the business and the life of the individuals. For me, innovation is the powerhouse that sets the tone to individuals to keep adapting and making the difference in our fast pace changing world.
