What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?

Business drive. Being able to make decisions without the full spectrum of information in an ever-changing legal scenario. Considering all legal aspects in decision-making including competition, environmental, consumer protection and ethics. These are all qualities needed to be successful in our industry.

How have you fostered a closer collaboration between the legal department and your business counterparts?

Legal is instrumental to the company. We align ourselves with the values of Apple, and so do other departments. Therefore, collaboration is made easier as we all share the same values.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

I am passionate about the protection of the oceans as well as other environmental causes.
