Morgan is able to deploy experienced legal experts in key positions and matters.  With a vast experience in legal and compliance in the financial sector, Márcio Bonfiglioli leads the Legal Department of J.P. Morgan in Brazil. Bonfiglioli counts with the support of a team of talented professionals such as Patricia Giglio, responsible for Corporate and Investment Bank Brazil Legal and coordinator for Markets in Latin America, and Lucas Mello, Head of Corporate Brazil Legal, which includes Corporate Secretary, Service Agreements and Litigation. Ana Dias, Head of Wealth Management Brazil Legal, Andre De Vita, Head of Asset Management Legal for Brazil and Latin America, and Solange Mendonça, responsible for firm-wide legal projects with focus on Latin America are also part of this team. Among the many recent achievements, the team worked on the sale of the Brazilian private-equity and hedge fund firm Gávea Investimentos back to the firm’s founding partners, which include former Brazilian Central Bank president Arminio Fraga. In 2016, the team was also recognised for its contribution reaching an agreement with the Tribunal of the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE).
