The team comprises of financial and corporate legal experts tackling the firm’s frequent M&A activity and investment debentures, as well as environmental and energy law subject experts adept at covering the company’s regulatory, environmental and indigenous law requirements and relationships. In the last year the team worked on the expansion of Enbridge’s dominant position in the natural gas distribution market (as Canada’s number one distributer) by merging with Spectra Energy Partners and expanding its 1,750 MW of net renewable generation capacity.
