Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved the way your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?
Betting on innovation and the need to streamline and simplify customer service, we have created legaltech tools, including a document builder that reduced response times by 85% and tripled response capacity. We have been pioneers in innovation issues for legal departments for several years and have received a number of recognitions. Finally, we have been promoters of new regulations and modifications, to promote digital products.
What are some of the key developments (legal, geopolitical or otherwise) that have affected your business over the last year?
New regulatory standards, which have represented great challenges not only in their application, but also when combining them with the group’s businesses. Additionally, the increase in digital transactions and products, which means that as lawyers we are reinventing ourselves.
How do you think the in-house legal role will evolve in the coming years?
We must adapt to new technologies and definitely seek to do things differently, we cannot remain in the type of legal departments of the past, innovation must be our ally.
Do you use any legal technology products and, if so, for what areas of your work do you find them most useful?
We use legaltech tools, including for the administration of litigation and contracts, document creation and bots, so that clients can self-manage their legal queries and dashboard.
