What are the major projects or initiatives you have worked on that you are most proud of? 

I am part of a global team within the legal affairs function created with the aim of reviewing and accelerating the adoption of legal tech tools to improve our legal operations. Last year, we played a key role in launching an internal legal assistant based on generative AI – LLM model – that is already improving our day-to-day work and positioned our function as a leader in the adoption of new technologies.  

What measures has your company taken to embed sustainability practices into its core business operations, and how does the role of the general counsel contribute to driving and ensuring sustainable practices within the company? 

 Sustainability is a core value for Tetra Pak, and as such, it is deeply embedded in our day-to-day business and activities. Legal affairs play a key role in supporting all business units in the roll out and implementation of sustainability initiatives in a wide range of areas, from product design, improving customer operations, supporting and developing recycling value chains in the markets we operate, among others. 

In your opinion, what are the main trends that are salient in your country currently?  

Geopolitical tension worldwide will continue to increase, and our region will not escape from its effects. We must be prepared to deal in a complex political and economic environment which may impact current supply chains and increase pressure on the business due to new trade and export control restrictions. Our role as in-house counsel will be key to helping our companies successfully navigate the challenges ahead.
