What measures has your company taken to embed sustainability practices into its core business operations, and how does the role of the general counsel contribute to driving and ensuring sustainable practices within the company?

Our bank has engaged in sustainable practices by offering financial products that are aimed to help women, communities and small business; also we have created a sustainability structure both Regional and Local with top executives and Directors to back all initiatives. Promerica has also signed and adhere to the Sustainable Development Goals

How do you prioritise diversity and inclusion within your legal department, and what initiatives have you implemented to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment?

Our team is mostly conformed by women (75%) and we have been working together with HR to forward women’s careers by creating new positions in our legal Department.

In your opinion, what are the main trends that are salient in your country currently?

Basically, issues regarding ESG, tax and regulation and reputational risk.
