Julia Núñez is a highly experienced lawyer and notary public, specialising in legal advisory services for large corporations. With over fifteen years of expertise in corporate problem-solving and legal project management, she has successfully led regional legal functions, overseeing key areas such as corporate contracts, litigation, labour law, compliance, business permits, and intellectual property. Her focus on emerging technologies and good governance further strengthens her strategic approach.

Her academic excellence was evident from the outset, earning Cum Laude honours in her Bachelor’s degree in Legal Sciences from Dr. José Matías Delgado University in 2008. She continued her academic development by obtaining a Master’s in Business Law from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2013.

Committed to continuous learning and specialisation, Julia earned a Doctorate in Private Law from Dr. José Matías Delgado University in 2017. Additionally, she completed a postgraduate degree in Commercial Management at ISEADE-FEPADE, equipping her with expertise in modern sales strategies and corporate commercial management to enhance business performance.

Recognising the importance of leadership in legal management, Julia participated in the Management with Leadership: Personal and Team Leadership course at INCAE. This programme refined her ability to drive high productivity, foster internal cohesion, and enhance external competitiveness. She firmly believes that leadership is a key factor in corporate success and should be cultivated by individuals committed to improving both their professional and personal impact.

Her professional journey includes serving as Legal Manager at Grupo Golán, where her exceptional leadership earned her the Excellence Award 12/2018 for outstanding team development, optimal legal-labour management, diligence, and innovation.

Currently, Julia is the Regional Legal Manager at Empresas ADOC, ensuring compliance with legal regulations across all countries where the company operates. She also oversees the legality of corporate activities and projects, ensuring comprehensive legal protection in all disputes involving the company.

Julia’s career is distinguished by her unwavering commitment to safeguarding corporate interests through strategic legal management. In June 2020, her profile was featured in Vanguard Law Magazine, the same year she was honoured with the Horma ADOC 2020 award. This prestigious accolade, granted to the company’s Employee of the Year, recognised her outstanding legal leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic, which ensured business continuity and sustainability.

Most recently, Julia was recognised in San José, Costa Rica, as an influential in-house lawyer in the GC Powerlist Central America by The Legal 500.
