The flag carrier of Panama and the largest airline in the country, with a total fleet of 84 aircraft, Copa Airlines has a long and proud history and is well-regarded in the industry, being part of the Star Alliance. Founded in 1944, the company is one of the most important employers in Panama and continues to expand, being one of the largest airlines in the region. The company’s legal team is led by Ivette Lorena Franco Koroneos, a highly qualified former senior foreign affairs ministry servant who has also unsurpassed experience of Copa Airlines, having been employed with the company since 1999. Alongside Franco, other members of the Copa Airlines’ legal team stand out, particularly Juan Antonio Escudero, a well-respected lawyer who previously undertook private practice work.
