Cuestamoras, a Costa Rican company committed to becoming a multi-business leader in the Americas across a range of industries and countries, is currently active in these sectors: healthcare, urban development and energy. Manuel Salas, as general counsel, manages the corporate legal function with Irene Coto as associate lawyer and Annabelle Venegas as corporate secretary. He also leads the legal team comprised of the following legal departments: Healthcare, with José David Zúñiga as director and Yanina Cordero as associate lawyer; urban development, with Edgar Solís as director, Rebeca Arias and Juan Diego Elizondo as associate lawyers, energy with Andrea Higueros, as senior lawyer and wealth management office, with Magally Pochet as senior lawyer. The team gained recognition for recently assisting the company on several transactions, with international parties, involving the sale of the hospitality sector. Also, the team legally lead the transaction for the acquisition of a chain of pharmacies, which is pioneer in Costa Rica of the low cost format. In urban development, the legal team is supporting the sector in structuring innovative legal solutions for the development of approximately 171,000 square meters of mixed use construction.
