The formidable legal function at Samsung Electronics Polska has streamlined its work through the introduction of new structures and schemes of organisational interactions for the provision of comprehensive legal support. The legal department is known for a hands-on approach when overseeing crisis management of the business, cooperating with international structures of Samsung and supervision of the compliance function. The function has recently helped the opening of a new production line at its plant in Wronki at the cost of PLN 390m. They have also worked on Samsung’s plan for opening a second Polish technology incubator in Lublin, as part of building a network of incubators of young technology companies, with projects dedicated specifically to cybersecurity.
