Skanska TFI is the Polish business of the Swedish multinational construction company. The company employs a highly able legal department in its Warsaw office, whose capabilities were strengthened even further with the promotion of Karolina Sulma to head of legal in 2017. Having worked at the company since 2013, Sulma was intricately familiar with the workings of the department, and hit the ground running implementing her ideas into its structure. In 2017 the team was instrumental with its support to a multitude of transactions conducted by Skanska TFI in Poland. Some notable examples include the opening of the Axis office building in Krakow, and the launch of various urban projects across the country, construction works on Brama Miasta in Lodz, the launch of the Maraton office building and its subsequent sale in Poznan, the expansion of the Spark office complex in Warsaw, and the sale of Atrium 2 in Warsaw. Working in close cooperation with senior management and in synergy with other departments throughout the company, it is clear to see that, Skanska TFI’s well drilled legal unit is perfectly equipped to support any type of real estate project, which places it amongst Central and Eastern Europe’s most capable legal teams in the sector.
