Bayer officially began its activities in Chile in 1914, with its first corporate building built the Vicuña Mackenna industrial district in 1957. Currently its operations in Chile cover the areas of human health (which incorporates pharmaceuticals and consumer products), animal health, agriculture and environmental health.
