Focus on the role of the legal team in promoting the success of the business and the country

Companies are and have been articulators of the progress and transformation of societies. Being part of the corporate industry is a challenge and a privilege. Business is my passion. My profession allows me to be part of the realisation of the company’s goals. Together with other teams, we have the shared purpose of contributing to the day-to-day development of Falabella’s business in Latam. I consider in-house lawyers to be privileged witnesses to the process through which talents and resources come together to create value, contributing to the success and progress of our country.

Our team is at the transforming axis of the Falabella Group’s business. Our distinction mark is technical rigour, collaboration, creativity and agility. We live in diversity, in a team where lawyers of different national origins, ages, religions and gender coexist, and we seek to promote with active measures the promotion of equality and inclusion in the legal profession through our interactions with law firms of our influence zone.

Participating in developing disruptive and transformative initiatives is a constant incentive to give the best of ourselves. Leading this team is an inspiring and challenging task. Today we are part of the team that is making the transition from a successful traditional retail business to an excellent digital business, where the capabilities of our physical and digital ecosystem will be the great differentiator and the foundation on which the success of this effort will be based. As the leader of the operational legal team of Falabella Group, I live with passion and pride in the challenge of carrying out these transformations and being part of the history of one of the most relevant companies in our region.
