Once the company has defined its global strategy for navigating periods of instability or crises, the legal team must align with this strategy as a business partner, ensuring organizational resilience. The legal approach should focus on promptly prioritizing and assessing risks, making it essential to continuously monitor regulations and contractual obligations. Adaptability to changing scenarios is crucial for the legal team.What measures has your company taken to embed sustainability practices into its core business operations, and how does the role of the general counsel contribute to driving and ensuring sustainable practices within the company?

Prioritising diversity and inclusion is a key driver for legal teams. Implementing initiatives such as diversity training, inclusive hiring practices, affinity groups, mentorship programs, and ongoing policy reviews helps foster a more equitable work environment. Our goal is to ensure that every team member feels valued and empowered to contribute their unique perspectives to our organization.

AI, for example, can automate routine tasks, leading to increased accuracy and efficiency, while blockchain offers new possibilities for secure and transparent transactions, and advanced data analytics provides deeper insights into legal data and trends.
