How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organization´s resilience?   

In periods of instability, it is essential that the legal areas remain in permanent contact with the other areas of the institution, to have greater sensitivity to the course of the business and, therefore, a better perception of the implicit legal risks. Legal management cannot be dissociated from the reality of the company or set aside its strategy, but, on the contrary, it must be more connected and immersed in the business than ever.

In my opinion, this alignment between the legal area and the other business and risk areas, to mention a few, is essential for the institution to successfully overcome the most complex periods.

How do you prioritise diversity and inclusion within your legal department, and what initiatives have you implemented to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment?

I believe the most important thing to incentivise an inclusive and equal environment is to prioritise the individual merits and abilities of every professional, encouraging that everyone develops and participates under equal conditions and opportunities.
