How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
First of all, I try to step into shoes of the CEO which means that we need to decide by balancing any potential legal and compliance risks while maximising business interests and the organisation’s strategy. Secondly, I always try to provide alternative solutions to business leaders to address an issue or risk. Say ‘how’ instead of saying ‘no’ to your business partners. Thirdly, be courageous to play the role of crisis management team leader and coordinator instead of hiding myself behind the curtain.
What are the main projects that you have been involved in recently?
I was responsible for providing legal and compliance support to Lenovo China business for launching Lenovo 1st AI PC in China market. I also have participated to the project in which Lenovo secured USD$2 bn investment from Saudi Arabia’s Alat.
