How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises to ensure the organisation’s resilience?

Thunisoft YD is one subsidiary of a listed company which provides legal technology products and services to Chinese government agencies, enterprises, lawyers, and the general public. In the face of instability or crisis, we have formulated a risk management framework for the entire life cycle to timely identify business risks and take effective measures before, during, and after the event. In terms of compliance and internal control, we comply with the requirements of Chinese listed companies and have established a perfect operating mechanism and safeguard including information disclosure, data compliance and other work.

What are the main projects that you have been involved in recently?

Leading the business of innovation, research and development, and marketing of legal technology products for enterprises. Meanwhile, I am also in charge of the company’s legal affairs.

In Thunisoft YD, I am mainly responsible for product innovation, research and development, and promotion for enterprises, as well as strengthening the company’s overall legal and compliance risk management. I produce a compliance and risk identification guidance manual for business operations to help front-line business personnel timely control risks during business expansion and contract signing; guide product and R & D personnel to strictly abide by compliance requirements in data privacy and information security, and complete product research and development and filing work.

Leading the team to develop knowledge database products which required in enterprise legal activities based on AIGC, and develop innovative application products such as intelligent assistants, contract review, contract drafting, and legal research to improve the efficiency of knowledge acquisition of the legal affairs departments of Chinese enterprises.

Do you use any legal tech products and, if so, for which areas of your work do you find them most useful?

AI is an essential and necessary part of my current work. It is mainly concerned on these aspects: helping me generate some simple codes and SQL statements, so that I can implement some data analysis work; helping me research regulations and cases of various countries around the world and assisting me to write insight reports; helping me establish a knowledge database referring to current business, in order to serve each team member to acquire knowledge efficiently and conveniently.
