Since its founding in 2002, CITIC Capital Holdings (“CITIC Capital”) has become a major name in the global alternative investment management and advisory sector. The in-house legal team is led by Janet Zhou, who is managing director and co-general counsel responsible for overseeing all of CITIC Capital’s PRC-related transactions. The team guides the company through all of the complexities of its Chinese assets. With industry leading expertise in international investment, the legal team assisted in the completion of major transactions in the last year including the completion of investments in the CITIC Capital Silk Road Fund – a pan Eurasian fund managed investment in the Shanghai Railink International Intermodal Logistics and Atasu Group, which fundraised for growth in trade between China and Europe via Central Asia.
