Pfizer (China) Research and Development maintains a large legal team which has consistently provided effective and high quality in-house services for Pfizer Asia Pacific. In past years, Pfizer China and other Pfizer affiliates in Asia Pacific have grown significantly and made great contributions to the global success of the company. The team is led by the highly regarded Dr Li Cai formerly of Wyeth in both the US and China, who has been at the helm of the team whilst it has handled and completed various industrial cutting-edge projects, ranging from clinical trials, licensing and outsourcing to M&As. The team was praised by nominating sources for its commercial acumen and the focused-nature of its advice: ‘It understands business, knows how to safeguard the client’s interests and is very good at leading and driving all members to become true business partners of Pfizer’.
