Since 2004, Bracco Sine, a joint venture between Bracco Imaging and Shanghai Sine Pharmaceutical, has operated an industrial plant in the Pudong area near Shanghai, producing specialised equipment and services including non-ionic contrast media for X-ray examinations, magnetic resonance imaging and ultrasound scanners. It runs the entire process from active pharmaceutical ingredients to final development, sterilisation, control and storage phases. Anna Gu, legal, compliance and internal audit director, leads the in-house legal team at Shanghai Bracco Sine. According to a nominator, the team ‘has consistently provided effective and high quality in-house service for Bracco Sine’s China businesses for more than five years.
