Ever since joining the company’s Colombian business as a corporate lawyer in 2003, Silvia Barrero has consistently excelled in providing commercially-focused legal advice leading to her being promoted to her current position, vice president for legal and corporate affairs, within just a few years. In this role, Barrero handles all matters in Colombia regarding legal issues, regulatory affairs, institutional relations, external communications and direction and coordination of social responsibility programs. Having demonstrated her ability in these fields on numerous projects, Barrero is well-known in Colombia’s in-house market and is distinguished for her strategic thinking and execution.
