Could you share an example of a time when you came up with an innovation that improved how your legal team works and did not come at a large expense?
The Legal team acquired a specialised software that allows easy management of litigations and facilitate appropriate surveillance, archiving, and production of corporate reports.
What are some of the main trends impacting the industry sector you work in in Colombia?
Higher government stakes, increasingly challenging community related matters and more demanding conditions to access long term financing are some of the main trends impacting this industry in Colombia.
How do you prioritise diversity and inclusion within your legal department, and what initiatives have you implemented to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment?
I worked closely with the human talent team and the LGBTQIA+ community of the company to obtain certifications that reflect the company’s principles, such as Friendlybiz. I offer members of the legal team flexible conditions which allow them to balance their personal lives and duties as parents. This is particularly important in some countries in which we operate, where mothers have a significant burden associated to their children.
