Ana María Flórez Ocampo has more than 15 years of experience leading and managing legal areas and high-performance teams in the hospital sector. Ana graduated from the Universidad Externado de Colombia specialising in Contract Law and Corporate Legal Relations; and in Medical and Health Law. She also specialises in Management, Leadership and Operational Excellence in Health awarded by the faculty of Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein of Brazil. Ana is certified by the International Program of High Management of the Universidad ICESI, as well as by the Programme of Boards of Directors and Corporate Governance of the Universidad de los Andes. She has expertise in the construction and leadership of legal areas as well as the development of legal strategies at a corporate level. She holds a vast amount of professional experience in leading and supporting processes of General Secretariat, Judicial Affairs, Arbitration Tribunals, Contract Law, Intellectual Property, Medical Health Law, Compliance, Regulatory, Administrative, and Surveillance and Control Affairs. Ana also has experience teaching at an undergraduate and postgraduate level and is continuing education programmes in Constitutional, Business, Civil Liability and Medical Law.
