Olga Varón Palomino, legal vice president and general secretary of Scotiabank Colpatria, is in charge of leading the legal vision of the Bank, in order to leverage business strategies, plans and initiatives in order to keep the organization and its clients safe.

Within her professional career that exceeds 30 years, Olga Varón has been part of organisations such as Asobancaria, ABN AMRO Bank Colombia, Royal Bank of Scotland Colombia, among others.

Varón is a lawyer specialising in Business Law from the Universidad de los Andes and has a Master’s Degree in Law with an emphasis in Financial Law from Tulane University in the United States.
