How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?   

This requires a comprehensive approach that aligns the legal strategy with the broader business strategy to ensure the organization’s resilience and a team work.  It is necessary to have a contingency plan but also to ensure the legal department is well-coordinated with other key departments (finance, HR, operations) for a unified and coherent crisis response and additionally to permanently review potential risks. 

What are the main cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?   

The purchase of an electric power transmission company in Guatemala and a project adjudicated in public bidding to Consorcio Eléctrico Yapay (CEY) -a company formed by ISA, Dunas Energía (a subsidiary of GEB) and Consorcio Transmantaro (a subsidiary of ISA)- which makes possible the entry of clean energies into the Peruvian electric system.
