How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
The first thing is precisely to understand the crisis and its environment, whether macroeconomic or social, and map the key actors in the sector beyond the clients. With this understanding and focusing efforts, resources, and time aligned with the business partners, it is possible to execute specific proactive claim management actions, engage specialised consultancy and propose legal mechanisms that allow navigating complex businesses.
How do you prioritise diversity and inclusion within your legal department, and what initiatives have you implemented to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment?
In addition to talking openly about diversity and inclusion, we ensure support from staff leaders in terms of spaces, platforms activities and events. Allocation of concrete resources is key to leveraging our initiatives.
In your opinion, what are the main trends that are salient in your country currently?
The creation of communities, digitalisation and an increase in AI-based solutions. Also, labour flexibility is another salient trend.
