During periods of instability or crises, it is crucial for the legal manager to ensure that all collaborators are informed and fully aware of the relevant operational, financial, and commercial conditions of the company, including the current market landscape. This comprehensive understanding allows the legal team to identify the true needs of the business. Legal support should be provided proactively throughout the process, rather than as a reaction at the end. By integrating legal advice at the appropriate stages, the legal team can effectively support the organisation in navigating challenges and contribute to its overall resilience.

Our long-term strategic plan includes a dedicated pillar focused on sustainability practices, encompassing governance as a critical component. This aspect of our strategy includes ethical standards and good corporate governance indicators, all of which are managed by the legal team. The general counsel plays a vital role in ensuring that these sustainability initiatives are embedded into the company’s core operations, aligning with both legal requirements and the broader business strategy to promote ethical conduct and sustainable growth.

Currently, one of the most prominent trends is the suspension or slowdown of investment dealings due to political instability.
