Legal affairs executive | ISAGEN
How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
In-house lawyers must act as business facilitators, and during times of crisis, legal teams should be creative and flexible, always aiming for organisational goals.
What are the main cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?
Since ISAGEN is one of the leading companies in power generation in the country, I have assisted the company in transactions aligned with its goal of being 100% renewable and in the growth, plan set for the upcoming years.
How do you prioritise diversity and inclusion within your legal department, and what initiatives have you implemented to foster a more inclusive and equitable work environment?
Undoubtedly, diversity brings numerous benefits to a work team. Among the practices that are actively promoted and practiced, we can highlight active communication, which allows us to obtain ideas that improve processes and aim for better results. We rely on the strengths, different visions, and experiences of all team members. Likewise, flexibility, continuous training, mentoring, empathy, transparency, and fairness are key in my team. My goal is always to create a harmonious environment where each team member feels valued and has a clear purpose.
