What measures has your company taken to embed sustainability practices into its core business operations, and how does the role of the general counsel contribute to driving and ensuring sustainable practices within the company?  

Our industry is heavily regulated and overlooked (from a regulatory and social perspective), we may have underplayed the value of transmitting the message of how actually a low carbon impact it actually has; but the oil and gas industry has keenly implemented technologies to optimise energy production and consumption during operations, being near to a sum 0 impact. We have to work together to make sure this information reaches a wider audience. 

As general counsel our role is not limited to advising on current regulations but to actively working within industry and government to implement the best-known practices and promote a dynamic work environment, a lively regulatory framework.
