I am a dual-authorised lawyer in Colombia and Venezuela, with over thirty years of international experience as a business lawyer. My expertise lies in leading legal projects and navigating complex international transactions across multiple challenging jurisdictions in LATAM, Europe, and Africa. I have extensive experience managing both in-house and external legal resources on a global scale. I am a listed arbitrator in Venezuela and serve as a Board Member of the Council of the ICC Institute for World Business Law in Paris, as well as the School of Government at the University of Hemisferios in Ecuador. Additionally, I am an Adjunct Professor at the UN University for Peace in Costa Rica and teach comparative administrative and economic law at prominent Colombian universities, including El Rosario and Sergio Arboleda.
My scholarly contributions include over 45 law review articles, three solo-authored books, and the coordination of more than five collective volumes on business, international, and comparative law.
