To begin with, our team boasted extensive involvement in numerous significant M&A dealings, including on international scales. Additionally, I’ve spearheaded pivotal M&A arbitration proceedings with a commitment to principled conduct. Finally, we’ve adeptly orchestrated the integration of acquired entities into our legal framework.

What would you say are the unique qualities required to be successful as an in-house lawyer in your industry?

Broad knowledge of relevant legislation, managerial experience, trustworthy, high integrity, business acumen, stakeholder enabler and credible.

How have you fostered a closer collaboration between the legal department and your business counterparts?

Intense and daily stakeholder management. Meetings 1:1 to establish trust and adjust expectations. Drafted formal processes/templates for successful cooperation and defined the license to operate/work together.

Do you have a cause, business-related or otherwise, that you are passionate about?

The importance of culture among colleagues and in a company. As Peter Drucker once said: Culture eats strategy for breakfast. No matter how excellent the strategy and the execution, if the people that should implement or execute does not agree or buy in on the concept then the strategy will not work.
