Johana Ditren graduated with honours in law from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra (PUCMM), in 2016. During her time at PUCMM, she excelled academically and actively participated in extracurricular activities. She began her professional career as a paralegal at Russin Vecchi & Heredia Bonetti, where she consistently met performance expectations and eventually became an intern lawyer, gaining expertise in real estate transactions and various legal fields. She later joined Castillo and Castillo as a junior associate, honing her skills in intellectual property litigation and client service. Seeking a broader perspective on law, she pursued a master’s in law and globalisation at the University of Bristol in the UK, further expanding her knowledge in areas such as intellectual property, arbitration, corporate governance, and environmental law on a global scale.
Today, Johana Ditren works as assistant general counsel for LATAM, legal operations at Phoenix Tower International. In this capacity, she plays a pivotal role in overseeing and managing legal affairs across Latin America, a region known for its diverse and complex legal landscape. Her expertise and guidance are instrumental in ensuring that Phoenix Tower International operates in full compliance with local and international regulations, safeguarding the company’s interests and reputation.
