How do you approach managing legal aspects during periods of instability or crises, and how does your legal strategy align with the broader business strategy to ensure the organisation’s resilience?
My approach involves understanding the context and vision of the organisation to define clear objectives. This enables me to establish a strategic action plan that aligns with the company culture. By identifying opportunities and risks, I can provide specialised, efficient responsaes that are sustainable in the long term.
What are the main cases or transactions you have been involved in recently?
Given the fast-evolving nature of the technology sector, the most significant recent cases I have been involved in are those that promise to deliver substantial contributions to communities on a national and international scale. Often, these transactions offer the opportunity to navigate the evolving landscape of artificial intelligence.
What emerging technologies do you see as having the most significant impact on the legal profession in the near future, and how do you stay updated on these developments?
As a young woman established in the corporate technology sector, I am exposed to the most significant technological trends, particularly artificial intelligence, due to the innovative nature of the legal projects we develop. To stay updated, I engage in regulatory analysis, comparative studies, case studies, and hold meetings with colleagues and technical experts, and stay up to date with current events.
In your opinion, what are the main trends that are salient in your country currently?
The main trends I observe in the Dominican Republic are a growing openness to the internationalization of businesses. There is a shift towards more innovative business models, the emergence of new sectors such as renewable energy, a focus on developing more sustainable projects, and strong support from public policies.
