About

Anne is the company secretary and chief legal officer at Housing Finance Bank. She previously practiced in the multi-media and oil industries. She has over 15 years’ experience as a company secretary and 20 years as a legal practitioner.

Anne serves on a number of boards and governing councils including; Mandela National Stadium , Britam Insurance Company (Uganda), Uganda Manufacturers’ Association, and East Africa Law Society. Anne has also served on a number of Committees of the Uganda Law Society, currently the chairperson of the in-house counsel committee and was chairperson of the legal sub-committee of the Uganda Bankers’ Association. She is a past lady captain of Uganda Golf Club and the immediate president of the Uganda Ladies’ Golf Union.

She is a chartered governance professional and fellow of the chartered governance Institute, United Kingdom. She holds a master’s degree in business administration, a bachelor of laws honours degree, and a post-graduate diploma in legal practice.

She is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and other Courts of Judicature. Additionally, Anne has attended several leadership programs including the CEO Apprenticeship facilitated by Strathmore Business School, Kenya, the CEO Summit of Uganda and University of Cape Town, South Africa and currently attending, a leadership coaching program.
