Brian Kirungi is a seasoned business and corporate law practitioner with over 22 years of experience spanning the public, private, and international development sectors. Renowned for being a trusted advisor to corporates across Africa, Brian excels in navigating complex legal and regulatory challenges. Throughout his career, Brian has developed expertise in telecom legal and regulatory management, transactional advisory, government relations, compliance affairs, technology law, and corporate governance.
Brian’s notable achievements include facilitating the successful launch of Airtel in Rwanda, managing government and regulatory affairs for Airtel and IHS Towers, and leading discussions on the One Network Africa initiative. He has also been instrumental in reforming business and commercial laws across several Sub-Saharan African countries during a six-year tenure with the IFC. Recognized for his leadership, Brian was awarded the prestigious President Eisenhower Fellowship for Africa.
