Artificial intelligence will have a massive impact on how the role of the general counsel will develop. In-house lawyers must be able to use the different tools provided by artificial intelligence to their advantage.

As we live in a fast-paced world today, what skills will a corporate legal team need to succeed in the modern in-house industry?

Always the purpose of the business into consideration. In-house lawyers must become enablers and help different areas of the business achieve their goals; they should not be roadblocks to the development of the business.

What are some of the main legislative or regulatory changes that have impacted you?

Data protection laws had a significant impact on all operations, and necessitated adjusting to different criteria, protection, and security measures regarding how data protection was managed in the company.
