What are the most significant cases and transactions in the LATAM region that you or your legal team have recently been involved in?

Despite Capgemini being a global company with subsidiaries in the main Latin American countries, many of the transactions have been developed from the Spanish subsidiary. These transactions cater to Spanish clients who are keen on investing in their IT systems to compete at the top level in the market. They turn to Capgemini for comprehensive IT consulting services, including digital and commercial strategy, IT transformation models, and the adoption of the latest technologies in areas like AI analytics, data science, and AI engineering, as well as app cloud modernisation and maintenance. One of our main goals of the past year, was to successfully establish several partnership agreements with the most relevant hyperscalers players in the market, to offer our top clients the highest quality services.

What are your organisations plans in the LATAM region over the next 12 months and how will your legal expertise help to achieve these plans?

We also keep abreast of, and anticipate the effect of legal developments on the way the Capgemini Group operates;

How do you adapt your legal counselling to align with the diverse business practices and customs of various LATAM countries?

We pursue excellence in service through professionalism, efficiency, sustainability, availability, and expertise, to provide high quality, creative, responsive, and cost-effective legal services in an account-centric and collaborative manner, industrialising the processes when possible and exploring the opportunities that legal technology brings as machine learning or robotic process automation (RPA).
