What are the most significant cases and transactions in the LATAM region that you or your legal team have recently been involved in?
We are involved in all main supply contracts for Enel renewable generation projects in Latin America. We also support negotiation and creation of standard O&M contracts for both renewable and thermal power plants, global supply agreements of related to energy distribution and grid equipment be activated by our local LATAM companies, as well as contracts for the supply of EV charging and mobility and storage equipment’s.
How do you adapt your legal counselling to align with the diverse business practices and customs of various LATAM countries?
We have a unique global culture, and we try to adapt our standards to local laws and practices, while maintaining as much as possible uniformity and alignment across the countries and each business line we support. We encourage having multi-country meetings to share experiences and practices.
