Miguel joined the legal department of Sanitas when it was acquired by Bupa in 1990. Since then, he has had different positions in the legal department of Sanitas and he is currently general counsel and company secretary responsible for legal, privacy and corporate governance areas in Bupa Europe and Latam Market Unit.
